Digital Marketing Specialist - Boxcrib

Office Location: Dominion Road, Auckland
Start Date: Immediately

Role Snapshot: You’ll lead Boxcrib’s digital marketing function - building the systems, running the strategy, and shaping how performance marketing grows inside the agency.

The Role

You’re a Digital Marketing Specialist who knows SEO, Google Ads, and Meta Ads inside out and want to take ownership of client digital performance from day one. You’ll be building campaigns, optimising accounts, and helping our construction clients grow online.

Beyond the day-to-day delivery, you’ll work alongside the founders to build and systemise Boxcrib’s digital marketing services - creating the processes, frameworks, and SOPs that will scale with the agency.

You’ll have the backing of a full creative and marketing team, so you can focus on the digital side and do what you do best.

    • You find yourself constantly looking for more information through podcasts, books, or online videos. 

    • You are genuinely interested in talking to people and reaching a solution through conversation. 

    • You found an extra gear when you’re close to giving up on a project. 

    • You want to be surrounded by people who are all creating and attempting to reach their full potential as individuals and as a team. 

    • You can tune into a laugh and good times while we all build up an epic company. 

    • You’ve failed before and your default thinking was moving on and learning from the experience

    • Manage and optimise SEO strategies for construction-sector clients - improving rankings, technical health, and lead flow.

    • Run and refine Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns across B2B and B2C construction clients.

    • Create and document SOPs and frameworks for campaign setup, optimisation, and reporting.

    • Collaborate with the wider Boxcrib team to connect content, creative, and digital performance into one clear strategy.

    • Use data (GA4, Search Console, Ads Manager) to analyse results and guide improvement.

    • Work closely with founders to grow and shape Boxcrib’s digital service offering as part of our next growth stage.

    • 3+ years’ experience running SEO, Google Ads, and Meta Ads campaigns (agency experience preferred).

    • Strong technical understanding of SEO principles and PPC best practice.

    • Hands-on experience with GA4, Tag Manager, and Ads Manager.

    • Confidence interpreting data and explaining insights clearly.

    • A proactive, independent mindset - comfortable working fast and figuring things out.

    • Curiosity and initiative to help build systems, not just follow them.

    • Familiarity with the construction or B2B space is a bonus, but not required - just bring a willingness to learn how this industry works.
