Our Background
We started Boxcrib in 2022 to fill a gap - construction companies were either doing scattered marketing, or nothing at all, and wondering why growth or brand recognition felt hard.
Since then, we’ve worked across the construction landscape - from small trade businesses and regional builders to large-scale national product suppliers and $40M+ construction firms.
That breadth means we speak the full language of construction - from site to boardroom. And we know how to scale marketing and recruitment strategy to match where a company is really at.

With over 13 years in high-end residential construction, Sam brings deep industry insight to Boxcrib. After managing projects across Auckland, he co-founded Boxcrib to bridge the gap between marketing and the realities of the construction site. Sam now works with firms of all sizes to align marketing, brand, and business growth.
Scarlet Laurent | Founder & Marketing Director
Scarlet blends a background in PR and marketing with real-world business experience. From leading marketing in recruitment tech to co-founding a successful subscription brand, she now drives strategy and creative at Boxcrib - helping construction companies grow through smart, structured marketing.

Jozie crafts and executes our clients social media posts, meticulously managing content calendars to guarantee timely and impactful online presence. Collaborating closely with our in-house photographers and videographers, Jozie ensures each client's brand effectively portrayed in line with their goals. In client account management, Jozie shines by maintaining close contact with clients, ensuring Boxcrib not only meets but exceeds their expectations.

Matthew has started with us fresh out of university after studying business and marketing. Matthew will be supporting Jozie in her day to day operations and learning as much as possible!

Cam came to Boxcrib after graduating South Seas Film School and gaining experience working on VFX for the Power Ranges. He manages our clients photo and video content, managing the shooting and editing team, and creates quality work himself. Cam has played a pivotal role in the growth of Boxcrib, bringing his can-do attitude into the office everyday. As a client of Boxcrib, you're sure to see Cam directing tradies around site to get the perfect shot!

Gabi has an eye for aesthetics and takes care of our clients graphic design needs. Whether it's new branding, flyers, portfolio booklets, site signage or workwear, Gabi has it covered. She is currently working remotely while she explores London and is back later in the year - we're quite jealous!

Agustina brings over seven years of graphic design experience and a sharp creative eye to every project. She specialises in brand identity and has a knack for turning underwhelming brands into standout names that get noticed.

Amy is our administration extraordinaire! She is responsible for scheduling your site visits and making sure we're all on the ball. She has years of admin and scheduling experience and never misses a beat. Amy's best known for her bright and cheery phone calls!
